Sunset Ride
From August 1 to 23 - departure 7:00 pm !
Let yourself be carried away by the magic of the sunset. Under the evening light, this route will reveal the exceptional landscapes of the Doux valley.
Departing from Boucieu-le-Roi, you start your activity by train to complete the ascending part and reach the starting point, located 8 kilometers upstream. Then you board our rail bikes to pedal in the descent and reach Boucieu.
Please note :
- For organisational reasons, you need to arrive 30 minutes prior to the activity.
- Our five-seat rail bikes carry two front pedallers + 3 passengers. To be allowed to pedal children must measure over 1.40m and must be accompanied by an adult at the front.
- All participants must be able to walk alone.
- For safety reasons, children weighing under 9kg are not accepted on the rail bikes. For those over this weight our team can adapt a child seat (if available).
1h45 ride, including the outward by railcar then return by rail bike
Equipment for the perfect pedal pusher
Don’t forget to wear suitable shoes, hat/cap and to bring with you sun-cream and water bottle.
Weather
In rainy weather our rail bikes continue to run so bring suitable clothing with you just in case ! In the event of storm warnings the rail bike may be cancelled.
